Choosing The Perfect Colour Theme

When you start planning your big day, one of the biggest questions is what colour theme to go for! With countless options and colours that rotate throughout different years it can make it a hard choice.

It is important that your colour theme reflects your personality and that it makes you feel happy and confident on your big day! Some popular choices include:

Blush & Gold

This colour combination is a very romantic and elegant wedding theme working both indoor and outdoor! These colour themes can also add a nice touch of glamour and luxury with lots of venue dressing choices to accompany it.

Burnt Orange

This seems to be the up and coming new wedding trend for 2023/24! Its usually saved for winter weddings but now its being used in summer weddings too, it looks so bright and cheerful whilst still being classy – especially when paired with crisp white and some greenery and pampass grass! It looks great with navy suits for the men, with a lovely little orange pocket square!

Navy Blue

This colour combination works all year round, it works so well for outdoor summer weddings and also is wonderful and rich for those winter weddings. it goes well with most venue interiors and goes nicely with any white, green, yellow or pink flowers and accents. Bonus is that most suits can come in the navy, you can pair this with the bridesmaids in a nice lighter colour such as blush or you can dress bridesmaids in the navy instead.

Sage Green

Sage green has been a favourite colour these past few years and it seems to be staying around a while longer. You can fully embrace the simple and classic white and green combination and fill your venue with greenery and calmness. It matches wonderfully with natural colours and themes such as hessian and wooden items. This colour can be used all year round, paired with maybe yellow for spring, white or pink for summer weddings, with oranges for any autumn weddings (mini pumpkins optional) and then with red for winter/Christmas weddings!

Powder Blue

This colour is a new and upcoming top favourite amongst the pastels! It is a soft and airy colour that can be paired perfectly with lavender and mint green. Powder blue can look great with all styles of weddings from outside barns to old halls.

Ivory

This classic colour theme will forever be timeless when it comes to weddings. Ivory can be used on its own as a core colour or can be added to create a soft feeling to a bolder colour i.e., Navy. Bridal bouquets look lovely with ivory flowers and this colour pairs very well with greenery.
