Gone are the days of the traditional Saturday Church wedding followed by a reception in a local hotel with a formal wedding breakfast… Now we have many more options from Barns to Breweries to Country Estates, where do you start in finding your perfect venue? Marquee
Would you like a blank canvas to plan your big day, no jazzy carpets or patterned wallpapers? Well maybe consider a marquee! Beautiful white drapes, star lit ceilings, some even have clear sides so you can make the most of the stunning grounds. Many are very spacious so if you have high guest numbers there is still lots of room for your tables and chairs, plus bar areas and a dance floor too! You don’t have to worry about port a loo’s either, booking a marquee at a venue means you do have a proper toilet! Phew!

Hotels
Hotels offer many different options when it comes to weddings, from different ceremony rooms and celebration areas to lots of menu choices! Not only do you have tons of accommodation on site so your guests don’t need to travel anywhere, but you can also stay the night before your wedding with your Bride Tribe, or even make the most of an onsite Spa for some last minute treatments to calm the nerves!

Family Owned Estates
Can you imagine it? Walking downstairs in your own home and you can get married there! House goals or what! You know that if you are booking your wedding at a family home then the service received will be second to none (sometimes it can be family members who are your bar staff or serving your wedding breakfast!) They will be with you throughout the booking process and usually there is ample accommodation for guests within the grounds of the Estate too!

Something A Little Different?
Do you or your partner love your ale… why not get married at a Brewery! This is definitely something which your guests will remember and will add a little quirkiness to your big day, check out The Pheasantry Brewery! Or what about an old industrial corn mill steeped with history but now converted to a modern suite, Rufford Mill may be for you! Or fancy something rustic? The Barn at Stratford Park Hotel with red brick walls, old wooden beams is refined, rustic and contemporary!

Outdoor Ceremonies
Over 70% of weddings are civil ceremonies so you have more choice on where you want to ’put a ring on it!’ So if you love the outdoors and want to tie the knot in the beautiful British fresh air (fingers crossed no rain!) having an outdoor ceremony is a great touch to a wedding day, especially when the grounds are in full bloom and the sun is shining! Guests no longer have to look out of the window at the stunning grounds, they can sit in them and enjoy taking in the scenery while you are saying your vows! We have venues with the most incredible backdrops, or you can even get married in the woods!
