They said long distance would never work. But roughly 100,000 miles of travelling later through sun, rain, snow and fog we proved them wrong. Love cannot be separated by miles when the love is so strong. 8 years ago meeting via social media that 20 year old boy from Weymouth and the shy little girl from Leicester started a relationship that could only blossom into the beautiful rose it is today...

From living 250 miles apart who could have said that we’d be saying our vows, living together and taking the steps to the future we dreamed of. We can’t say it’s been easy but when you drive 250 miles into the arms of your true love you know it’s worth it. Now that distance is no object our love just grows stronger and stronger.

Each day waking up in the arms of the one you love is magical. Now we can celebrate all these feeling for one day with friends and family and create more memories to last a life time.

As the sun set on one chapter of our lives on the beach of Alcudia, Joanne was not prepared for the question which would set in stone a life of bliss and happiness. Will you marry me? Yes! The answer that would set a trail of events that would start the life and dreams they both wanted

Through sickness and struggles we have been each other’s guiding light, a struggling of mental health battles and an injury which changed Jamie’s life, a complete ACL reconstruction, Jamie needed to learn to walk again, but nothing motivated him more than the image of him walking down the aisle in the future with his bride to be and nothing fought off the demons of depression more than spending time with his one love. 

So, whoever said distance never works. They clearly haven’t met us
