Luke and Charlotte first met in school, but it wasn’t until at college that their shared bus journeys finally brought them together as a couple!

They got engaged in York in the Guy Fawkes Inn on February 14th 2011 as Luke turned 21! with the York Minster as the backdrop and nearly ended up getting stuck there as they ran out of money!

Charlotte said; “I will never forget the day I got the phone call to say we had won Round One of the Bespoke Competition. I thought it was too good to be true, but after having the first meeting at Shottle Hall it became clear how real it all actually was. Then when we got the second call to say we’d won Round Two as well we were just in utter shock!

 

Once the day came the stress immediately went away and everything came together. It was the best day of my life so far, I tried my hardest to try and take everything in. We had the most amazing suppliers and coordinators, because of them we were able to enjoy ourselves on the day and I could never thank them enough for the amazing jobs they all did. I still can’t believe we’re married and there is no way we would have been able to do it when we did if we hadn’t won the Competition.“
