Budget?…
First of all, lets talk budget. Summer weddings are notoriously known for being expensive, after all it tends to be when the largest holidays fall and everyone is after the short lived British summer days. Having a wedding out of the summer season, particularly in winter, more than often means it is a lot cheaper. Venues tend to have different menu options and less expensive venue hire and upgrades in this season, so if you aren’t looking to break the bank then this season could be a more affordable option.
The next thing is suppliers, suppliers are often fully booked years in advance for popular spring and summer dates. Suppliers often have better availability in the winter months – and with budget to spare from the venue, you can put more money towards making your day even more special with a larger variety of suppliers.

Decor?…
Arguably the best thing about a winter wedding is the venue dressing. Winter weddings are absolutely stunning, whether you are opting for a rustic and cosy venue with log fires or a grand winter ball wedding, the décor is beautiful. Bonus if you are a lover of Christmas and want to tie in this to your theme, as most venues will have their own decorations up for this holiday and it saves you having to pay for extra décor!

The Clothing?…
Last but not least would be the clothing! Winter wedding dresses are most definitely some of the most luxurious. With it being colder, this allows you have a heavier or larger gown which you aren’t going to melt in, like you would in the summer heat. The same goes for the men, they can opt for the 3-piece suit and look extra dapper, without worrying about being hot and uncomfortable all day long.
